Windy Kruger Day

Just Us

Windy Kruger Day

Our windy day out which was delightful but not what we had anticipated 😱👀❄️🌬️🌫️

The joke of it is that we were up at 5am….. With much persuasion (I had to pull Chris off the bed by his feet to wake him up 😉😂).

We were going to watch the sun rise in Kruger. Only I have done this alone since moving here in February 🤔

AS YOU SEE….. the sun never climbed out of bed herself… She stayed sleeping under a blanket of clouds.

Visited the big rock, Skukuza Golf Club, Skukuza Nursery, Lake Panic Bird Hide, Nkuhlu Picnic Site and returned home via Croc Bridge … It turned out to be exciting, addictive but 10 hours’ driving.

Slept most of Wednesday and we both felt rather ill.

Oh dear, age creeping up our do we need to just calm down!?

I am a child of Africa, born in beautiful Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and grew up on a beautiful Tobacco Farm. I've moved many many times and do not really know where I want to put my forever roots down. I have fun doing everyday things away from my home, trying to see the wonderment of life through the eyes of a child. A day out, weekend away, week away...... And months' travelling hold magical memories and events. These are what make me who I am - cautious, adventurous, fun loving & hungry to discover colours, countries, geography, cultures and experiences... and I'm normal too ... tiring travel makes me frowny too sometimes. .... With my lovely life partner (Chris), passport, medical kit, credit card I go..... wherever the wanderings take us..........
